AI for Squishy Humans Check-in

AI for Squishy Humans has been going for nearly a year and a half. It’s gone quickly, and a lot has changed in that time, both in AI, and in my life.

When I started AISH, I was between freelancing gigs. I scored a great, one-year contract shortly afterwards, that had me working four days a week in a very AI-positive company. I was teaching once, maybe twice a month at an adult community college, and writing fiction on the side.

Today, I’m still teaching, still writing, but the freelance contract has evolved into a permanent, full-time role and promotion at the same company. Work life is a lot busier, and the teaching side is likely to get busier too – initial response to a new Intro to Agentic AI class I’m creating has been very enthusiastic. So, yes, I’ve got less time and less brain-space than when I started, but that doesn’t mean I’m about to stop.

I still enjoy exploring and explaining the areas I dig into for AISH, but I want to make sure it’s useful, interesting, relevant, and ideally fun, for you as well. That’s why I do it.

If you could change AISH in any way, what would you do? Make it monthly? Make it weekly? Make it longer? Shorter? Diving into specific tools? Do you want to re-visit tools we looked at in older posts?

Which articles and topics did you enjoy? Which were useful? Which ones are you still waiting for?

Which is more useful/valuable to you, the article, or the news roundup?

Please let me know what you like, what you don’t, and what you want to see. You can drop your thoughts into the form below, or email me at hello@aiforsquishyhumans.com. I’d love to hear from you.
